RESEARCH

The research activities of the Laboratoire de Chimie de Coordination at the University of Strasbourg are focused on the molecular chemistry of the transition elements and the interface between transition metals and main-group elements. They require the synthesis of air-sensitive compounds using Schlenk techniques or glove-boxes and various spectroscopic methods are used for their characterization. The objectives are to prepare new molecules of fundamental interest and/or with potential applications in homogeneous or heterogeneous catalysis and in photophysics. This team has developed numerous academic and industrial collaborations, in France and abroad.
